Our Services

Supporting people to :

  • Live in their own home
  • Make choices about their life
  • Get support to live the way they want to

At LAM Services Ltd, our domiciliary care service provides service users with personal care assistance from dressing through to meal preparation as well as help administering medication. We also offer much needed companionship to those who need it, providing the sort of social interaction which can help the service user stay engaged and active.

We assist with

1.Personal Care
Assisting with everyday activities such as getting up in the morning, washing, bathing, toileting, shaving, oral hygiene, dressing, manual handling, eating and help taking medication.

2.Domestic Assistance
We provide a range of practical support to older service users. We can help them with meal preparation, cleaning, ironing, shopping and managing correspondence, as well as giving them the support they need to engage in social activities.

3.Hospital Discharge
We provide support following hospitalisation, help with medication administration and help service users to manage their treatment regimes, respite care (short breaks for an unpaid family carer) and end of life care.

Our registered pharmacists work alongside GPs and the local pharmacies and provide :

  • Medication advice
  • Medicines Management and
  • Medication Training.

Our Live-in service offers around the clock care which means support and help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to address any needs that may arise. Clients have found that their mobility has improved, social life increased and they no longer rely on friends or family for support and care.  Live-in care can become a lifeline, helping many to maintain their independence by avoiding a move into a residential care home.

Our Live-in carer is fully trained and lives with you in your home, supporting with your day-to-day needs and even being on call overnight and can help with personal care, keeping on top of the chores or moving round the house. Many of our carers become a rock to their clients, enabling them to live the way they want every day.

Call us today to talk about your care needs and see how live-in care may suit you.

If you need emergency care where there’s been for example, sudden illness or an accident we are able to set up care effectively and provide expert support quickly.

We can arrange care urgently for:

  • Short periods
  • Live-in home care after an accident or unplanned hospital discharge
  • Emergency care if you’re struggling to find cover at short notice
  • Urgent palliative care so your loved one can stay at home for those difficult last moments

We provide specialist support with the day-to-day things so your family can make the most of your moments together.

Having palliative care at home means your family member or friend can remain in the place they feel most comfortable, surrounded by their memories and the people they love. Also, with the one-to-one support of a compassionate and fully trained carer – someone who is experienced in palliative care – they have specialist support whenever they need it.

Whether you’re looking for a full-time live-in carer, or a visiting carer for those times when you need some extra help, we provide the full range of care services for palliative and end-of-life care. For personal care, administering medication, cooking meals or sharing memories over a cup of tea, our support can lessen or grow when your needs change.

We are able to provide fast-track palliative care at the last minute. We regularly work alongside hospices, support groups, continuing healthcare teams and district nurses to offer the right level of home care.

If you’d like to find out more about the palliative care and how we can support you, call our friendly and sensitive team of advisors. We’re here seven days a week to talk through the options.

We work closely with local community pharmacies, GP surgeries and hospital pharmacies.
